RCPL To Close for Labor Day:
All RCPL locations will be closed Sunday, September 5 and Monday, September 6 for Labor Day. The library system will resume its regular business hours on Tuesday, September 7. To renew materials, please click here or call 929-3425 or 929-3427. Items can be returned using the book drops available at all 11 locations.

Quilters of Gee's Bend Visit Columbia:
The Quilters of Gee’s Bend will bring their works of art and compelling stories to Columbia in October. Hear from several of these endearing women as they share their personal stories and the history behind the art of their quilt making at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 2 at the Koger Center for the Arts, in downtown Columbia. The event is free and open to families but space is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.

Do You Know RCPL's Teen Idol:
Know teens who can sing? Then encourage them to audition for RCPL Teen Idol, a vocal competition just for teens! Contestants will compete for the chance to win a variety of prizes, studio time and the opportunity to sing at a variety of community events.
